Event Description
ABOUT THE EVENT
Hydrogen Europe is very pleased to invite you to its second “Hydrogen Talk” event series covering the topic: Hydrogen- the key fuel for trucks! Join us on Wednesday, 27 April, at 10:00 CEST for this 90min long webinar.
Drastic emissions reduction in road transport are needed to meet the EU transport goals in the next decades. Hydrogen-fuelled vehicles will be key to decarbonising the trucks segment, as these types of vehicles can provide major flexibility, fast refuelling and driving range expected by their customers to close the gap with current diesel alternatives.
The Webinar will bring together representatives of truck manufacturers, end-users, representatives of hydrogen refuelling station system providers, and civil society.
The panellists will tackle both the opportunities and challenges of the technology, the complementarity that hydrogen will play in the road mobility sector with other zero-emission technologies such as battery-electric trucks, and discuss key enabling conditions such as the ambitious rollout of a hydrogen refuelling station network to ensure that these trucks can fully realise their zero-emission potential.
