Event Description
“Strengthening corporate sustainability strategies in global value chains”There is tremendous urgency needed to design the better solution for critical sustainability issues such as climate change, human rights, governance and social well-being.Businesses and governments alike are challenged to create impact worldwide for action to create social, environmental and economic benefits for everyone.Global trade and international production networks have truely become a system of "value chains", an instrument for expanding values of modern societies around the globe. The European single market itself is the best example for this and Workers' Voices had a significant role here in making this happen. Workers' participation also in strategic decision making can help to push positive impulses through this system of global value chains if they are enabled to do so.Please join us for this debate. We are looking forward meeting you.
