Join us to commemorate the #WorldCancerResearchDay on 22 September at 16:00 - 18:00 CEST.
Throughout the event, under the presidency of Her Majesty Queen Letizia of Spain, Honorary President of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) and the AECC Scientific Foundation, we will count with the participation of internationally renowned experts in the field of oncology and cancer research, who will share experiences about the impact of cancer research on the survival and quality of life of cancer patients.

#WorldCancerResearchDay takes place every 24 September, and is a worldwide initiative to raise public awareness of the importance of cancer research and the extraordinary contributions of cancer researchers worldwide, as well as to promote faster progress to defeat cancer by coordinating research among global organisations. This year’s global campaign, led by the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), will focus on:
- Increasing awareness and knowledge about the value and impact of cancer research
- Enhancing sustainable funding sources for cancer research by mobilising individuals, companies and institutions
