Event Description

We will celebrate in 2018 the 10th anniversary of our Cost-Benefit Analysis Seminar and we organize a special and unique CBA event in Rome. This three-day highly practical seminar will cover all essential aspects of Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) in 2014-2020 and its potential future developments post 2020.  The European Commission Guide on CBA, national CBA guides and its methodology, will be discussed with experts from European Commission and JASPERS, including lead author of the last CBA Guide, and with Member States. You will extend your knowledge about the preparation of the best CBA, its successful assessment and its audit performed by auditors from the European Court of Auditors.

How will it help you?
You will improve your theoretical and practical knowledge of elaboration and assessment of CBAs prepared for EU Structural and Cohesion Fund investment projects conform to the DG Regio requirements. To exercise the knowledge you gain, you will work in a small workgroup on a case study of your interest (case studies will be especially prepared for this event), with direct involvement of CBA experts from EU Commission and JASPERS.

Who will benefit most?
Participants of previous CBA seminars wishing to broaden and improve their practical knowledge on CBA, beneficiaries eligible under Structural Funds, Cohesion Fund and IPA II, managing authorities, certifying authorities, intermediate bodies, auditors and other actors involved in EU funding programmes and projects.
