At this crucial time in the fight against climate change, the European Islands have a key role to play in developing sustainable energy action plans.

62 Island Authorities from the 11 participating groups of European Islands in ISLE-PACT have already signed the Pact of Islands. 52 ISEAPs produced during the life of the project indicate that the European islands have the potential to reduce CO2 emission by more than 18 million tons per year.

This is equivalent to 31% of the emissions of Denmark.
