The seminar will consist of both a political and technical discussion on how to simplify the cohesion policy in the context of the initiative of theHigh Level Group on Simplification of European Structural and Investment Funds.
The Chair of the High Level Group, Mr Siim Kallas, will provide feedback of its work, followed by the DG Regio. The European Investment Bank will focus on the potential of financial instruments with the cohesion policy. Moreover, the following speakers will present the ways smart specialising and auditing could support simplification. Finally, a technical panel of experts will discuss concrete proposals for simplification.
Interpretation will be provided in English, French, German, Dutch, Romanian, Bulgarian and Lithuanian.
