Event Description
Join us on 9 December 2021 from 14:00 – 15:30 CET for a virtual policy dialogue on cross-border initiatives and EU-level joint procurement in the filed of medicines: ’European Cross-border Initiatives: Toward Fair Medicine Deals?’.
The Association of European Cancer Leagues (ECL), the European Fair Pricing Network (EFPN), and the European Public Health Alliance (EPHA), with the support of the European Parliament's MEPs Against Cancer (MAC) Interest Group invite you to tune-in live for a timely discussion on the opportunities and challenges for cross-border initiatives and joint EU level procurement. Honourable Dr Janez Poklukar (Minister for Health of Slovenia) will deliver a Special Address to open the event.
On this occasion, the ECL Access to Medicines Task Force (A2M) will launch a paper on cross-border collaboration and joint procurement initiatives in the field of medicines, which includes recommendations to re-energize existing initiatives and start new ones building on the lessons learnt from the EU's vaccine procurement strategy.
The paper will serve as a tool to steer a fruitful discussion among a wide range of high-level speakers.
This online event will take place on 9 December 2021 between 14:00-15:30 CET (Brussels time).
