Property Rights Alliance is inviting European stakeholders to attend a Policy Breakfast at the European Parliament on the occasion of the World Intellectual Property Day, celebrated globally on 26 April.
The event will take place on 24 April 2025 at 8:00 AM at the MEP Salon in the European Parliament.
The gathering will bring together prominent European policymakers, industry experts, and members of civil society to engage in a dynamic dialogue on intellectual property matters within the European Union with a specific focus on transatlantic relations.
During the event, the Property Rights Alliance will announce the launch of the IP & Trade European Parliament Working Group – a new platform that will facilitate discussions between stakeholders and policymakers on issues such as transatlantic relations, intellectual property rights, and trade disputes – and present the Civil Society Letter to the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) highlighting the significance of intellectual property and the updated presentation of the World Trademark index.
Prominent speakers, including MEP Abadia Jover, Vice President for International Affairs at Tholos Foundation, Lorenzo Montanari, Chrysa K. Kazakou, international fellow at Property Rights Alliance, and Philips Thompson, Policy Analyst for trade and intellectual property, will address the event.
