Event Description
Purpose
In order to face the recent cybersecurity attacks that hit the global economy and efficiently respond to a more connected economy, the Commission will revise its 2013 Cybersecurity Strategy in September 2017. The mandate of the EU Agency for Network and Information Society (ENISA) will also be reviewed so as to align it to the NIS Directive requirements and possible expand its mandate. As the expected Strategy will aim to develop measures on cybersecurity certifications, labels and standards, FleishmanHillard believes this Commission initiative will be of key importance for businesses involved in the digital economy (tech, energy, transport, health, banking, financial). This roundtable will give you the opportunity to discuss the key elements of the new Strategy, and the ENISA mandate, with both Commission and ECSO representatives. This will provide you with an opportunity to learn fist hand about how the Commission initiatives will impact your business.
