Event Description

The virtual event “COP26 and Fit for 55: the EU’s climate leadership to push the world into climate action” will take place on Tuesday 7 December from 15:00 to 16:00. Hereby the confirmed speakers:

· Javi Lopez, MEP and shadow rapporteur on the European Parliament’s resolution on COP26

· Paolo Caridi, Responsible for relations with China, Directorate-General for Climate, European Commission

· Claire Divver, Global Head of Corporate Affairs for Trafigura

· Chris Pratt, Managing Director of Hill+Knowlton London and leader of Better Impact

The objective of the event is to gather leaders from the EU institutions and industry to discuss the extraterritorial aspects of EU climate policy and of the ‘Fit for 55’ Package.
