Event Description
Hosted by Lazaros S. Lazarou, Member of the European Court of Auditors
“Innovation” and the “public sector” are often seen as antithetical. However, public sector plays a key economic role as a regulator, service provider, and employer, and an efficient, innovative and productive public sector can be a strong driver of private sector growth. Yet, as described by OECD’s OPSI, innovation is not one thing, but a multitude of different things, and it should be managed accordingly.
ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), as part of its quarterly brand theme on the “power of connections”, is delighted to invite you to a lively conference at the European Court of Auditors with an impressive line-up of experts, to ‘myth bust’ the assumption, discuss how we cultivate Public Sector Innovation, and explore areas where governments are applying innovative practices to improve outcomes for citizens, create value, while driving sustainability, accountability and the digital agenda.
You can register by sending an email to ACCA Brussels office
