The post-2015 development agenda will set a new course for international development and the fight against poverty as well as for global environmental policy. Green jobs and green skills are key factors for sustainable development in its economic, social and environmental dimensions.
What are green jobs and what role do they play in international development? How can they contribute to poverty reduction in developing countries and emerging economies? What is the role of the private sector? What are the opportunities and the challenges for development cooperation? What experiences and approaches can German development cooperation offer in this regard? The event aims to bring international policy-makers and practitioners together to discuss these questions.
