Mechanical engineering is a truly European industry. So the VDMA is becoming an increasingly European organisation. With the 1st European Engineering Dialogue, the VDMA has created a new conference designed for leading figures in the European mechanical engineering sector to discuss the present and future challenges of our industry.

Mechanical engineering companies feel that, all over Europe, our economy is in transition. Digital technologies have the potential to greatly improve products and services – but which business models will prevail in the digital age? Protecting climate and saving resources are becoming an imperative – but what are the strategic implications for companies?
