Event Description
Following a successful call for abstracts, registration is now open for the third edition of EWEA’s Analysis of Operating Wind Farms workshop taking place on 14 - 15 April 2016 in Bilbao, Spain. The 2016 Analysis of Operating Wind Farms Workshop will bring together wind energy experts from industry and academia to discuss challenges, issues, and specific solutions for wind farm operation.
Topics & abstracts
EWEA received 85 abstracts from over 20 countries from Europe and beyond offering an innovative and international perspective. Abstracts were received from wind industry market leaders such as Acciona, DONG Energy, Nordex and RES and the final programme will be online by mid-February.
Below are the topics which will be central to this year’s edition:
- The application of big data and advanced statistical techniques
- Predicting and enhancing turbine performance
- Post-construction yield analysis
- Asset reporting: availability and other key metrics
- Repowering, extending life or decommissioning?
- Innovative techniques for enhanced performance
