Event Description
The Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies and the Free Russia Foundation invite you to join us for an expert discussion on the coordinated efforts of the Russian regime to undermine key Western institutions. The Free Russia Foundation has released a report highlighting Russia’s escalating manipulation of Western legal systems and its win-at-all-costs agenda.
The case studies in the report demonstrate that the Kremlin has been successful in its attempts to undermine the rule of law throughout different branches of government in Western countries, corporations, law and audit firms, law enforcement and even international anti-terror agencies. But just how sophisticated are the tactics employed by Russian agents against Western institutions and private stakeholders? What can be done to mitigate these alarming trends? Join us for the presentation of the report and an in-depth discussion on how Europe can respond.
Registration and light lunch will start at 13.30.
