Liberal Breakfast: join us to discuss disinformation
Section
Event Description
We are happy to invite you to the first Liberal Breakfast event of the year, in coordination with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation Europe.
This Liberal Breakfast will discuss the implications of disinformation on democratic elections, taking a special focus on the increasing rise of extremist political parties in Europe and their tactics to question free and fair elections. It will also explore the impact that lies and disinformation, specifically from online platforms, have had on democratic elections both in the EU and abroad. This event will also discuss what can be done at political level to ensure that the sanctity of democratic elections continue, and how we can fight disinformation in everyday life.
Join us on 23 February at 9:00h CET for an insightful conversation!
