This event of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum will focus on the following areas:
- Dealing with new security threats in the EaP region and how the security dimension affects EaP countries’ foreign policy and engagement in democratic reforms;
- Russian aggression in Ukraine and Russian destabilising influence on the EaP countries: how to mitigate?
- The EU engagement in resolving regional conflicts. Ensuring EU unity, consistency and dynamic, proactive diplomacy. The role for the US and multilateral institutions;
- Civil society as a force in addressing regional conflicts and campaigning for democratic transformation and reforms and European integration;
- Implications of the security dimension on the Eastern Partnership and its goals;
- EaP CSF perception of NATO’s role in providing the security in the EaP region.
