  • International event organized by Civil Society within the European Year for Development 2015 on 28-29 October 2015 in Milan, Italy in the framework of the CONCORD Europe/EYD2015 Civil Society Alliance project 
  • Bringing together key European institutions, Civil Society Alliance members from all over Europe and citizens to discuss about a coordinated approach to sustainable development
  • Theater show “Pop Economix LIVE SHOW” 
  • High level panel discussion “How to make a change? Working together for a global sustainable development” hosted by the EXPO Debate on role of CSOs in context of the implementation of SDGs launched by the Co-chairs of Steering Group of EYD2015 Civil 
  • Serie of thematic workshops on current issues (Migration crisis in Europe and in the Mediterranean, Development Education, Climate Change and Women’s Rights, Food & nutrition / food waste, Role of private sector, Holding Governments and private sector accountable for the SDG, and The role of  Local Authorities with the SDGs).

  • Carlotta Sami  Spokeswoman and head of the press office for Southern Europe of the UNHCR. She was previously spokeswoman of Save the Children in Italy from 2003 to 2008, and then director-general of Amnesty International in Italy from 2012 to 2013.
  • Mamadou Cissokho, the charismatic founder and honorary president of the Network of Peasant Organizations and Agricultural Producers in West Africa (ROPPA)
  • Sergi Corbalan, Co-chair of the EYD2015 Civil Society Alliance and Director of the Fair Trade Advocacy Office
