Event Description
Doslidnytske, a small village to the south of Kiev, will become a platform for modern plant production technologies next year. After the successful export of “DLG-Feldtage” to Turkey, Romania and Tatarstan, finally the first International Field Days will be held from June 21 to 23, 2017 in Ukraine. The organizers are IFWexpo Heidelberg and the Agricultural Demonstration and Training Centre (ADFZ), a project supported by the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture, the Ukrainian Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food, and the Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science. The German Agricultural Society (DLG e.V.) and the Ukrainian Research Institute UkrNDIPVT will provide technical support.
DLG Field Days are an established innovative platform and meeting point for farmers, consultants and producers and distributors of seeds, fertilizers, plant protection products and machinery. Modern plant varieties, new means of production, improved cultivation methods, live demonstration of agricultural machinery as well as the latest research findings – all this will make the Field Days on Ukrainian black soil a unique experience for the 5,000 visitors that are expected at the event.
The Market
„Since I left the German Embassy and moved back to Germany in 2013, I have been watching the development of the Field Day of the German Agricultural Center (formerly DAZ, now ADFZ) with great interest. I believe it is time to expand the field day in Ukraine and to establish the successful DLG concept together with the ADFZ experts“, Stefan Kresse, Director of IFWexpo Heidelberg.
The field works will be carried out under supervision of the qualified experts of ADFZ and the Institute UkrNDIPVT. Some companies are already choosing their plots. Register now too!
A number of renowned business partners of the ADFZ project including Berthoud, CASE IH, FMC, CLAAS, Horsch, Lechler, Lemken, Mais Dnepropetrovsk, Norika, Rauch and Stefes have declared their intent to support the Field Days.
„DLG Field Days are loved by agronomists all over Europe. And next year Ukraine has the chance to become the central meeting point for farmers and companies interested in modern agriculture“, Olga Sydorenko, Director of Agrar Medien Ukraine, magazine Agroexpert.
