The event will take the form of a debate and participants will be from authorities, taxi regulators, legislators, industry stakeholders, associations and operators. It is taking place within the context of European Taximesse, Europes largest taxi trade fair. The event draws participants from Europe and beyond. A programme is attached for information. Again registration is free. The topic of the event will focus on the industry initiative Taxi- Anytime! Anywhere! That aims to promote the use of taxis and their part in the public transport chain.

The 5th International IRU Taxi Forum, taking place on 10 November 2012 within the Europäische Taximesse, Kölnmesse, Kristallsaal, Köln from 9:00 to 13:00, will bring together some 200 leading taxi business operators, regulatory authority representatives, taxi manufacturers, taxi-related academic researchers and marketing experts from around the globe.

The Forum will reflect on the joint industry motto “Taxi – Anytime, Anywhere”, with interventions and debates focusing primarily on how to achieve and effectively implement the commonly agreed taxi industry values of flexibility, comfort, safety, environmental performance and accessibility.
