The World Mining Congress is a world mining event that takes place every 3 years. Lead by a secretariat with organizational status, it is associated with the United Nations and is located in the Central Mining Institute, in the city of Katowice, Poland.

At this year's Finanzwende Forum we explore ways to reform financial systems for an orderly transition to a low-carbon economy that is in line with the climate stabilization goals set out in the Paris Agreement. How can we make sure that the Finanzwende provides the capital for low-carbon development in all sectors of the real-economy?
