In this seminar we will give you an overview of the current rules and developments in European public procurement based on the public procurement directive (Directive 2014/24/EU) and the directive on the award of concession contracts (Directive 2014/23/EU). We will examine the public procurement directive in detail, covering the scope, procedures, rules on public contracts, contract performance and specific procurement regimes. We will address key issues in the use of competitive dialogue and the competitive procedure with negotiation. You will also learn about PPP/private finance, indicating where PPP are being used and when they work best for financing infrastructure projects.
