Event Description
We are excited to invite you to Quantum Delta’s workshop ‘Could Quantum Tech make a difference?', taking place in Brussels on 3 October from 09:00 AM to 12:30 PM (CEST).
While there is no single silver bullet for climate change, forward-looking technologies like quantum promise potential to support the greening of key verticals – from climate modelling for more accurate predictions to power grid optimisation.
‘Could Quantum Tech make a difference?' will convene policymakers and leaders from the quantum and clean tech ecosystem, offering a prime opportunity for one-on-one interactions. Attendees will gain valuable insights from expert presentations, including:
• Dusan Chrenek, Principal Adviser — Digital for the Green Transition, European Commission’s DG CLIMA (Keynote Speaker);
• Mark Van Stiphout, Deputy Head of Unit for Research, Innovation, Competitiveness and Digitalisation, DG ENER;
• Pascal Maillot, Deputy Head of Unit High Performance Computing and Quantum Technologies, DG CNECT.
Please note that places are very limited. RSVP here to register your interest.
Lunch will be provided. Attendees are also welcome for breakfast from 8:30.
