Since 2018, the European Cancer Forum (ECF) has attracted over 600 participants and 80+ esteemed speakers, establishing itself as a premier platform that brings together experts from Ministries of Health, the European Commission, the European Parliament, academia, patient groups, and industry representatives to advance the conversation on cancer policy in Europe. This annual event brings unparalleled insights into the progress and future of cancer policy and offers attendees the chance to make meaningful connections with top minds in the field.

Today, EU cancer policy is at a pivotal moment. Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan and related activities have prompted considerable changes in support of patient access to scientific advances. Inequalities remain a major concern, however, as implementation of EU policies in member states continues to pose a challenge. 

The sixth European Cancer Forum 2024, themed "Implementing a Sustainable Future for Cancer Care" will assess achievements, address remaining challenges, and take a forward-looking approach to ensure patient access to innovative cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment, and care in 2025 and beyond.
