ITI Presents the EU Data Act: Ensuring Fair and Balanced Rules for Data
Section
Event Description
Join ITI and Yvo Volman, Acting Director for Data in the European Commission’s Directorate‑General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology, for a moderated discussion on the EU Data Act.
The Data Act will introduce a new framework to increase data access and use and bolster the data economy. To do so, the European Commission is looking at new rules for how businesses share data with one another and the government.
This virtual event will explore how the legislative framework can make sure rules on data access and use are fair for all actors, balanced and proportional.
After a brief presentation of the proposal by Yvo Volman, you will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A, moderated by ITI’s Guido Lobrano.
