Event Description

Women represent more than half of the world’s population. Yet, they are underrepresented in both public and private spheres. While the number of female leaders has grown, the goal of achieving gender equality is coming at a slow speed and women still face many challenges when it comes to leadership and decision-making positions.

At this virtual Liberal Breakfast organised in coordination with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation Europe, we aim to shed light on the barriers that exist for women in politics and how we can continue in the fight for parity. More so, the event will focus on how we can create lasting sustainable change that goes beyond quotas, and how we can create a culture and society that automatically empowers women and creates the space for true equality.
