Event Description
The Croatia-EU Business Council, in collaboration with Vlahovic Group LLC, is organising a working lunch with Croatia’s Tourism Minister, Mr. Gari Cappelli:
“Priorities of the Croatian Tourism Ministry ahead of Croatia’s inaugural 2020 Council of the EU presidency”
Croatia’s Tourism Minister Cappelli is leading an initiative for the establishment of a special EU Fund, as well as a Directorate General for furthering tourism in the EU. This way the sector would receive more prominence as well as funds for investment in tourism, especially sustainable development in the sector.
Croatia’s Council of the EU presidency is not until January 2020, however the state administration is in full preparation for its EU member rite of passage. With tourism playing a major role in Croatia’s economy, Minister Cappelli will address the growing potential of Croatia’s tourism industry, as well as that of the EU.
I hope you will be able to join us for what will surely be an interesting discussion and Q&A.
The official language of the event is English.
