Social Europe & Jobs
Event Description
During this webconference, WEC-Europe and UNI-Europa will present the joint recommendations they have agreed as social partners for the agency work sector in the context of the Covid-19 crisis, and discuss with EU stakeholders the policy framework needed to put Europe on the pathway to an inclusive economic and social recovery.
Given the unprecedented situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, UNI-Europa and the World Employment Confederation-Europe issued in May Joint Recommendations to protect the health and safety of temporary agency workers, to safeguard work and to prepare for an inclusive economic and social recovery.
Following a presentation of the recommendations, representatives of the European Commission and Eurofound, the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions, will discuss the policy responses needed to create the pathway to an inclusive economic and social recovery. National initiatives will be presented by social partners from the Netherlands, France and Italy.
