The Common Assessment Framework (CAF) is a total quality management (TQM) tool specifically designed for the development of TQM in public sector organisations, starting with a self-assessment of their organisational performance. Since the launch of the first version in 2000 and revised versions in 2002 and 2006, around 3000 organisations in many European countries have implemented the CAF. This CAF training will be based on the CAF 2013 version. The training will provide a more in-depth analysis of different aspects such as:
Target group The workshop is intended for officials from national, sub-national and local authorities and other public bodies from the EU Member States and candidate countries and from EU institutions and agencies responsible for the management of PPP and other complex public procurement contracts awarded by their public body. It should also be of interest to private sector providers, professional advisers and academics.
Target group This intensive programme addresses all public sector employees, who are in charge of or involved in the transposition of EU law and/or preparing the defences of Member States in all stages of the infringement procedure, irrespective of the level of government or origin of the case (i.e. national, regional and local level). The programme is also relevant to private practicing lawyers, consultants and other interested actors from the private sector, who wish to update their knowledge of the infringement procedure and obtain a comprehensive overview.
Targetgroup Members of the judiciary, lawyers, civil servants and members of the public administrations as well as private sector actors with an interest in EU environmental law. A legal background is not necessary to attend the course.
