Left-wing MEPs gather in Copenhagen for "study days" debate

The European United Left / Nordic Green Left group will today kick off three days of discussion, debate and analysis on subjects including the economic crisis, climate change and left parties in government in Copenhagen.
 
During the week, the MEPs will meet representatives of Denmark's Red-Green Alliance, economists, activists, trade unionists, and members of national parliament from both Sweden and Denmark.
 
The Copenhagen study days will take place in Hotel Scandic - Vester Søgade 6.

A draft law is being introduced in the Spanish parliament that would enshrine the right of self determination for nations within the Spanish state. One of the sponsors of this Bill (Alfred Bosch) is in Brussels to explain the new law's relevance in a European context to MEPs and others.
