ALDE has invited Syrian eye witnesses who have recently fled from Aleppo along with a prominent Lebanese politician (Ahmad El-Hariri) to Strasbourg this week, to give first hand account of what is happening inside the country and the effects of the humanitarian crisis is having on the immediate neighbours. This will coincide with the debate regarding Syria in Plenary with the EU High Representative on Tuesday.
